I was born on 23rd September 1979 in Sivas/Imranlı/Kondilan village. I studied EEMM baglama (musical instrument) and solfege between 1995 and 1997. My first appearance on a TV playing baglama live was on the KMP TV in 1995. I was entitled to study in Istanbul University, Protohistory and Near Eastern Archeology in 2001. I prepared and presented the program "Kocgiri" on TV 10 with the Kurmanci dialect of Kocgiri which is my mother language between 2014 and 2016. Most of my artist guests who participated in my program performed in the local language with cultural -Folkloric elements. Pontus Kemenche (Lyra) is a legacy inherited from the Greeks and I have been singing Kurdish requiems, dance songs and Alevi folk songs while playing the Pontus Kemenche for years. The Alevi Bektashi tradition of baglama and Alevi folk songs are different in our region I’ve tried to keep it alive in a musical tone with baglama. I studied our region’s (Kocgiri) music and culture as an archaeologist meticulous work. My Albums: 2002 Dağlar /2005 Dost Perişan/2007 Koçgîrî/2009 Pepûg/2012 Pag/ 2014 Sergerde. I’ve received various awards from Local Councils, local and national cultural associations, Kurdish and Alevi organisations for my efforts in sustaining the culture and language. My articles and interviews with me were published in national papers. I gave solo concerts in America, Europe, Australia and Turkey and continue to give.
