Locals of Burleigh Heads; 4-piece alt-rock band Ferny Fairway bring an electrifying yet homely feeling to the alternative rock sound. The Ferny's mix blends the contemporary indie rock genre, whilst using tones of the 90's era, helping form a new alternative sound. The band met through mutual friends of one another initiating from different high school friend groups and university. After a couple of rehearsals and a night out at the local, the band Ferny Fairway was born. Since forming, the band have had the pleasure of playing some of the biggest local venues in South East Queensland. However, in the 2023 year, The Fern are continuing their heavy momentum as they prepare for their biggest releases & local shows to date alongside their first interstate gigs since forming. May 2023 will see the band release their second track of the year "Brain Zap". The track has always been a crowd favourite at Ferny Fairway's live shows, being a staple in their setlist. The band promise to deliver hard rock tones with loud energetic drums. This track will be one to remember.
