Pacific Northwest-based artist ZOI was formed in late 2019 by writers / producers Sam Martin and Spencer Bastian. ZOI's sound is a blend of vintage soul and modern electronic production, featuring seasoned vocalists such as Joe Coleman (performed with The Temptations, Smokey Robinson, Natalie Cole, B.B. King). ZOI's debut single “We Bad, We Know” was placed as the opening song for the theatrically-released horror movie “Countdown”. Since then, their music has been placed in a variety of TV shows and commercials for brands including Apple, Hulu, and Disney. In early 2021 ZOI won Best Music Video in the Flicks4Change Film Festival for “Bring it On”, directed by ZOI member Sam Martin. ZOI is currently beginning work on their second studio album.
