Биография
Originating from Kalamunda, Western Australia, alt-pop outfit Dolce Blue is a band who have created their own brand of indie-pop meets alt-rock that is sweet (Dolce) with a hint of melancholia (Blue). Consisting of high-school friends, the four-piece have an undeniable chemistry bound from years of friendship and a love of music. Forming as a band officially in mid-2018, the group released their infectious self-recorded and produced debut single New White Sneakers in late 2018, followed by their epic 13-track (also self-recorded and produced) album Forever Is Too Long early 2019, a sadder heart-wrenching EP Always Blue in 2022, which features tracks such as Nobody Asked and TV, over the past three years have been peppering singles Summerwave, Dream Catcher, Nothing Bad, The Finest, and most recent single Valentino in the lead up to their sophomore album Sweet Melancholy out now. From consistently good songwriting and catchy releases comes the ongoing support from WA local institution RTRFM 92.1, as well as national radio coverage from ABC’s Triple J and Unearthed, providing Dolce Blue with the opportunity to grow their local and national fanbases and sign to 2020 and 2022 WA Label of the Year winners Blue Grey Pink. Selling out their own local shows and playing alongside the likes of Sly Withers and Shag Roc, they will be hitting the road for a national tour following June’s LP release.
