Kalwich (Matouš Kalvach) is a Czech Recording Artist, songwriter, musician, and producer. At the age of fifteen, he recorded his debut album, “Real Dream”, with a music video of the same name. This album established his presence at the Óčko music station, where he won first place in their “New Artist” competition. Following this win, he opened the 2011 Óčko Music Awards. In 2013, Kalwich went on his first Summer Tour, hitting cities all over the Czech Republic. In 2014, he released his second album, “Gentleman”. Coinciding with each song were music videos. The leading single, “Naučíš Mě Lítat”, celebrates just under 2M views on YouTube. The “Gentleman” album features videos filmed in the United States as well as Czech Republic. Following this album release, Kalwich has shared multiple hit singles including “Typek” and “Ja To Vim”. In 2020, Kalwich released several hit singles entirely written, recorded, produced, and performed by himself; “Won’t Stop (Corona)” being his first single performed in the English language. Kalwich resumes his recording career in 2021 with smash 5 track EP - Jsem Tady, that serves as a "Hey I'm back" message for his fans; all produced and mixed in Oklahoma City from his home-studio. Kalwich graduated with a degree in Music Business in 2018 and currently resides in Oklahoma City, OK with his wife, Kate Kalvach. They regularly return to his hometown in the Czech Republic.
