Биография
Lingua was an alternative rock band from Sweden that started making nioce on the local scene in late 2000. Heavily inspired by (and never really optioned any alternatives to) the DIY-scene they spent their first six years producing five demos wich they buned on CD-rom and gave away or sold at shows. Upon hearing their fifth demo, Mascot Records signed the band and released their first effort, The Smell Of A Life That Could Have Been. The album consisted of the four demo songs and four new cuts. As the album was recieved with little interest by press and the scene and as the members entered new stages of adulthood with families of their own, Lingua hit a smaller hiatus before picking it up again with their old DIY approach. A contact with Aural Music led to the recording of what would end up being their swan song, All My Rivals Are Imaginary Ghosts. Not long after its release, in 2011, the band called it quits. Thomas (vocals), Patrik (drums) and Anders (bass) went on to form the power trio that is The Isolation Process. Misha (guitar) has been seen fronting ÅFysatan from time to time. Besides Lingua, the band also started a couple of side project to vent all musical ideas that didn't fit the bands visionary frame. In 2004 they gave birth to the foul and crude trash punk unit called Rövfitta. In 2005 came Come Sleep and its beast like post-metal that came to release an EP and an album before being put to sleep with all other proects and bands in 2011.
