Hailing from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, producer Anthony « Wizard » Bailey embodies the city’s cultural heritage by using jazz fused soulful tones, seductive grooves & classic stripped back drum beats that reflect the higher values within Hip-Hop culture. Applying a rare, ethical code to his craft, Bailey creates something nostalgic, warm and sincere while being celebratory about the trade of hip-hop. The 26-year-old HEC Montreal & Recording Arts Canada Graduate is also co-founder of art/media production company known as ‘Astred’, based out of Montreal. Its mission is to “promote universality, accessibility, empowerment & leadership by building power to the youth and culture through providing visibility for untold stories & creating a community-generated knowledge base.” Having released 3 infectious well crafted projects in 2019 amounting to over 40 000 streams in addition of his numerous performances at notable concerts such as Festival Metro Metro, Gueule d’Érable & Hip-Hop Principles, his blissed out soulful productions are perfect for any favorable playlist, creating emotional uplifting & feel good vibes.
