Formed out of a mutual admiration for bands like Black Sabbath, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Tool, Shihad, Horsehead, Bugdust, Mastodon and Led Zeppelin. Melbourne-based hardrock/grunge/sludge/alternative metal outfit The Charge formed in 2008 around the talents of guitarist/vocalist Ashley Jones, drummer Ben Cuthbert, bassist Julian Crupi, and guitarist/vocalist Hamish Mills.
