Robin Borneman is a Dutch Folksinger & Storyteller. His folk/roots music is rich and full of meaning, poetry and symbolism. His distinctive voice has been described as sounding "desperate but beautiful". Borneman has steadily built up a totally unique and diverse musical heritage with his Cinematic sound, incorporating pre-pop/rock music styles such as blues, Americana, and classical (film) music. Borneman's music & lyrics frequently present atmospheric portraits of nature, dreams, and often lonely characters and places. His songs are poetic, heavy and experimental, although he has also shown a penchant for more conventional ballads.
