Formed in 1992, Passage’s original lineup - consisting of vocalists Mark Laygo and Katrina Agarrado, bassist Patrick Almonia, drummer Vic Mercado, keyboardist Gilbert Erpiridion, guitarist Ira Cruz and founding member/saxophonist George Dimayuga – were responsible for massive hit singles “You Won’t See Me Crying,” “Forever,” and “’Til My Heartaches End,” all of which were covered by the largest names in Original Pilipino Music, like Regine Velasquez, Martin Nievera and Ella May Saison. Though the band has seen many incarnations and additions to the lineup, they are still presently regarded as one of the best-ever in the game, and their music is still part of playlists and popular radio to this day.
