When the brats of Nona Problemo are not looking at their smartphone-screens, they like to compose messy, fairylike new wave songs with a playful, ecosocialist layer underneath. They’re based around the Belgian student city of Leuven, educating themselves in newly emerging academic disciplines like fungus physics and sitopian cyborg sciences. Their self-titled debut EP, recorded together with the praised Belgian producer Bert Vliegen (Whispering Sons), was released on the 17th of February 2023. It received wide critical acclaim from both Belgian and international independent music blogs.
