Биография
Primo Son is a young Mexican quintet composed by: Manuel Manterola Ogarrio (guitar) Nicolás Manterola Ogarrio (drums) Joaquín Ogarrio Healy (keyboards) Rodrigo Ogarrio Healy (voice and jarana) Pedro Reynoso Robleda (bass) This group of brothers/cousins was formed during 2016 with the objective at that time of create music and then share a good time with friends and family. Unpretentious but giving their maximum effort, Primo Son began to be formalized and grow. During 2017, they attract the attention of producers José M. Salinas (Dapuntobeat, Human Fader, also producer for Paty Cantú and many others) and Phil Vinall (producer for Placebo, Pulp, Radiohead, Zoé, Enjambre, Dorian, etc.) In collaboration with Jesús Báez (Zoé keyboard player and songwritter) they produce the first songs of the quintet, presenting “Que Bonito” as their debut single released in the early 2018. Followed by “Mil Sabores” with the collaboration of Jenny Ball (Jenny and the Mexicats) on the trumpets and “Calle Medellín” a romantic song with the dance and fun seal of the band, songs that led them to share the stage with Taburete and Moderatto that same year. After having recorded two more singles with the same team of producers and also Angel Mosqueda (Zoé's bass player and songwritter) called "Vamos ya" and "Cómo la ves" and releasing them by mid 2019, they announce that those two singles will be part of a 10 track full length album that will be released during the first months of 2020.
