After joining Twisted Wheel in late 2017, Lavin was handed a baptism of fire. A sold out UK tour was followed by a two huge support slots with Liam Gallagher at Finsbury Park and Old Trafford Cricket Ground in 2018; a year in which the band also topped the U.K physical charts with the Jonny Guitar E.P. Following this run of success, the group continued to tour the U.K and Europe, making notable major festival appearances at Reading + Leeds, Kendal Calling and Y-Not - before linking back up with Gallagher once again in 2019 and 2020 for support slots across the UK, Ireland and Europe. After finally returning back off tour, the band released it’s critically acclaimed 3rd album ‘Satisfying The Ritual’ in March 2020, with Lavin penning popular single Black and Blue (featured on Radio X), along with album track Wrong Side Of The Road and co-written (with Jonny Brown) surf stomper ‘Ghost Man’. The band then announced it would be taking a break from. It was during this window of opportunity that Lavin began writing songs for a potential solo project. He insisted that the early material should mirror the simplicity and naivety of his roots with the sharp edges and discipline that traced back to the early 80’s peak of post-punk. Linking back up with producer Dean Glover and fellow bandmate Ben Robinson provided the creative spark that set the new material alight, as recording was commenced in late 2021. Latest single ‘From A Window’ was featured on BBC Radio 6 by Tom Robinson.
