Glances of Bordeaux are an Art Pop / New Wave quartet, founded in 2019, in the city of Athens (GR). The band’s sound is swelling with energetic pop elements inspired by the timeless 80’s Brit Wave music of Depeche Mode and New Order, with a hint of subtle dark indie guitar driven 90’s nostalgia, similar to the one that bands like Interpol, Slowdive and the Cure have abundantly offered. Glances of Bordeaux see through the eyes of an urban wanderer of the night. The city. The silhouettes of nightlife. The thoughts of a lonely mind lost in the paradox of the times. Stories from the past of childhood innocence, connecting with an almost violent present of reality.
