And The Animal is an electro-pop trio based in Chicago. Their music is an eclectic journey packed with electronic, groovy and powerful beats. The project was originally born during a magical winter night in Oslo, Norway, back in December of 2014. Hence the hints of scandinavian vibes you’ll hear sprinkled in some of their earlier tunes. During the span of a few years, the trio has evolved their sound through collaborations with musicians from around the world. They have infused their music with a versatile range of genres going from exploring the sonic hues of Brazilian percussions, to house beats, synth pop and the rawness of rock guitars. Either way, their music will make you dance, sing or just chill with a martini during a beautiful summer night on a city rooftop.
