You love death metal, metalcore and melody, you are welcome! Our story, the project was born in Milan in June 2008 from the idea of Roberto Palmiero and Matteo Giugno, friends and guitarists. After the meeting with Luca Croci, the bassist, they formed their first line-up. In 2010 the band recorded their first demo and later on their first full-lenght album, Reflecting Evil, containing 8 unreleased tracks for the italian label Punishment 18 Records. Syra left the band in 2011 and was replaced by a new talented drummer, Valentino De Lucia. So the Grievers returned to the live scene, supporting Impaled Nazarene, Gama Bomb, Alestorm, Skitzo and many more. In 2013 they started recording the new album but, for reasons unknown, the project has stopped. After 4 years of inactivity, the band restarted in 2017 with a new guitarist, Andrea Parafioriti and they finished The Eternal Pleasure Of Revenge, their second album for the new label Sliptrick Records. In March 2023 Bizarre Stalkers was born. SOUND: The Grievers create a metal sound, that is the result of the mix of melodic death metal (North Europe) and metalcore (USA). The great work of guitarists mixed with the rhythm section creates many changes of time and breakdown while the modern sound is always bright and sharp, the powerful voice gives the character and the particolarity of the Grievers style.
