Ragged Jubilee is a Garage Rock & Blues band based out of San Luis Obispo, California. Dig Dick Dale, Black Sabbath, Booker T, The Doors, The Black Keys, Nirvana, Link Wray, Neil Young, Led Zeppelin or Bob Dylan? You’ll hear sprinkled notes of one, or shades of another in each release. Yet each cosmic jam is unique, as the band continues to evolve there own signature blend of grit and soul. Front man, Ethan Burns, has constantly been about changing the dynamic. Whether it be adding new instruments, guitar pedals or experimentation in general. With this constant shift, each member of the band (Chandler Jacob, Aaron Wick & Austin I’anson) brings something special, which makes up their unique & heavy sound. The band self-released their first E.P. (On The Mountain) in 2009, with full-length album releases in 2011 (American Moan) and 2013 (In the Valley). In the years to follow, they decided to expand further into there music experience… They released there first vinyl in 2017 (Pyramid Scheme). And another digital release in 2020 (Electric Mental State). They just released their new album, “Mulholland Overdrive” March of 2023 on DC-Jam Records.
