From its conception in 2006 and throughout the years, epic crunching metal wrought with somber melodies has been the trademark of the band. Blending the raw and ice-cold nerve of the Scandinavian black metal scene with a distinct nod and apt sensitivity towards the melancholic touch of the British doom scene of the nineties. DALIT hails from the southern parts of Norway, and have been serving accolades for the wretched for nearly 15 years. Equipped with lyrics soaked in the philosophy of suffering and oppression, combined with its unique take on Scandinavian doom, the band appears quite unique among its European peers.
