    Jacob D. Edward (NL) Jacob D. Edward is a folk songwriter from the Netherlands with Leonard Cohen, Jason Molina and Damien Jurado as his most relevant touchstones. He’s a songwriting slide projector of thought-provoking images and emotions, both autumnal and soothing. To quote him: “too many cracks have caused a breach, so now the light escapes me”. His songs are forthright, but envelop the listener in a multi-faceted process in which he extends the realm of the singer-songwriter. He takes his audience seriously and makes them complicit in his new romantic esthetic of dissonance.
