Биография

Born and raised in South London, Marc Jones is a true artist, founded on his own genuine love for music. Growing up playing the drums in church, he's a multi-instrumentalist, with an ear for melody, though rapping soon became his focus. On his debut mixtape ‘’Glass Half Empty’, Marc speaks to the tension between the constant desire to achieve more versus the contentment with what we already have and are grateful for. Despite the inward focus, Marc paints a relatable picture which allows the listener to see themselves as they walk in his shoes. This is Marc’s best, most honest and most musical work to-date, seeing a number of collaborations - including MOBO award winning rapper Guvna B, South London up and comer Tidez and talented singer Josh Kye. Executively produced by RP9 (Ed Sheeran and Big Narstie), there is a synergy throughout. The chemistry between Marc and RP9 is one that has been growing since they first collaborated in 2018. Marc continues to receive support from various places. Recent achievements for Marc include his previous single ‘Tintin’ being featured on Donald Glover’s cult classic series  ‘Atlanta’. Marc continues to build a solid foundation over the UK’s airwaves, including plays on Kiss FM, BBC 1Xtra and Introducing, as well as a Capital Xtra Homegrown Track of the Day and Kiss Fresh. With over 5m streams to his name, Marc's setting his sights high and has the music to back his ambition.
