Heavy Stoner from Lyon, France, since 2014. GOATFATHER is a four-piece heavy stoner band born in Lyon, France, in 2014. From stoner to southern rock and heavy metal, they build a powerful music based on heavy guitars and smuggled Bourbon. GOATFATHER’s universe may be described in one question: Will we only be free when all civilization has been destroyed? We share this deep will of freedom, with bands that influence our music, such as ORANGE GOBLIN, LYNYRD SKYNYRD or BLACK SABBATH. Since its birth in 2014, GOATFATHER has been known as a great live band, playing nearly 100 shows, mostly in France. This live career includes important festivals (SYLAK OPEN AIR 2017, PLANE R FEST 2018, WEST STONER SESSIONS 2017 and 2019) and support for international bands like CROWBAR, SASQUATCH, MARS RED SKY or STONED JESUS. “Hipster Fister”, released in May 2016, received great quotes from various medias and fans, making GOATFATHER one of the most respected stoner bands of its area. It’s now time to record its successor , "Monster Truck", which has been done successfully in March 2020 at Warmaudio Studio (CELESTE, CULT OF OCCULT).
