Live Evil fka "The Freshest Live Set” began in 2011 as a result of playing together as the crew The Freshest. The Vancouver-based production duo consisting of DJ Marvel and Kutcorners have recently started to operate under the remix and stage alias Live Evil, which boasts a darker sonic direction for their collaborations. Drawing on their backgrounds as club DJs the pair has had success with their live remix performances which include and array of synths, turntables, and drum pads. Live Evil has been sharing their sound touring across North America recently performing at the legendary Low End Theory in Los Angles and gaining internet praise from Pitchfork, Okayplayer, & Hypetrak, while their original productions have been receiving spins on Shade 45, and BBC Radio 1.
