Phoenix James is a rising force in the South Florida music scene. At 20 years old, she is making a name for herself as a versatile and experimental singer-songwriter and producer. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, and raised in Miami, FL, Phoenix's love for music began at a young age, taking guitar lessons at 7, later attending a performing arts school from 6th to 12th grade, where she also taught herself how to write and produce her own songs. In June of 2020, Phoenix introduced herself to the Miami music scene with her debut album "Aw(ful)some," which showcased her unique sound and distinct voice, and quickly caught the attention of music lovers. She further solidified her place in the local music scene with her appearance on the collaborative RealLiveAnimals album ”In Color" alongside other emerging South Florida artists. Throughout 2021, Phoenix continued to release singles and collaborate with other artists, honing her skills as an artist. In 2022, she released her experimental EP titled “New Stages," where she demonstrated her songwriting skills and exhibited drastic growth in her abilities, gaining the attention of industry professionals.
