“Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop” a mantra for the lost, apathetic generation of queer folks that were left behind by a system that was not meant to support them. Matty Grace channels her disillusion into heartfelt songs about heartbreak, survival and the capitalist system that holds us down. Touted by Exclaim! Magazine as the “New Face of Old School Punk” Matty balances her time fronting Halifax-based Punk Poppers Cluttered and Ottawa Crisiscore band Crisis Party, she has also accumulated a notable body of work spread amongst a dozen projects alongside her solo material. As a solo performer she is most vulnerable and somehow still optimistic that there is a light at the end of the tunnel Tell your friends you love them.
