Canadian singer/songwriter Mani Khaira is a keyboardist whose music evokes raw vulnerability combined with unexpected vocal power. Mani’s captivating sense of confessional storytelling takes listeners on a sonic journey of self-love and acceptance on his most recent release, ‘Face First’. 
 ‘Face First’ is a seven-song compilation exploring sexual acceptance and honesty within the context of a longterm relationship. Themes of infidelity, lust and innocence play out against uptempo beats and moody soundscapes. 
 Netflix star Brennan Clost from “Tiny Pretty Things” is the featured dancer and choreographer for Machine, the first music video release from Face First. Blurring awareness of unity and individuation into automatic response, Machine explores automated emotion. 
 Perception and illusion feature in single, ‘Prudence’, a pop song with lush synth and nostalgia, harkening back to the masks we wear. Produced by duo Twin Rains and Mani, ‘Prudence’ showcases the avant-pop musical stylings and vocals of L CON. 
 On the episode, “Couch Surfing” of CBC/Netflix’s hit tv show “Kim’s Convenience”, ‘Naked’ rouses our authentic selves with its 90’s vibe. 
 Raised on Sikh hymns, Ravi Shankar classical Indian music & Bollywood legend Lata Mangeshkar, Mani’s creativity bends Eastern influences with inner city adventures, producing work of beauty and inspiration.
