Jeremy Moore is a singer and songwriter based out of Birmingham, Alabama. Studying classical music and hymnology in college, he fell in love with hymns—their depth, and musical language—viewing them as artifacts that have been sifted by the currents of time to communicate truths from generation to generation. From that deep conviction, Pillars was born. Pillars is a rearranged hymns album that bridges the gap between the past and the present. “Honoring the past is very important to me, so Pillars keeps the same ethos, tone, and structure as what would be on a hymnal page, but the music is updated programmatically and thoughtfully.” Jeremy’s goal is to share these hymns and their stories, hoping to preserve the legacy left by generations before us. Pillars is available everywhere music is streamed or sold.
