🙋‍♂️ A viking English king or an aspiring off-white, male Harriet Tubman? Perhaps a born Texan. TCB ⚡️ Recording Artist + Music in the heart of creation. His song "Wheels" from the 2008 self-produced debut was used in HBO's "True Blood. Kanude performs a genre of music called Americronica (Rock + Americana + Plant medicine), while having also released an "electro-gospel" album of covers and originals called "Kingdom" in 2013. The self-produced album "Colors" released in 2017 features Matt Johnson on drums (St. Vincent, Jeff Buckley) and was mixed by Grammy-winning engineer Steve Christensen (Khruangbin, Steve Earle). 
 Regarding the name, the artist started using the Kanude moniker after keyboardist and producer Ronnie King (2Pac, The Offspring, Pepper) started calling him that when they collaborated on demos in Houston in 2006. He has previously released music under the moniker Val Holler.
