Teizzei SMT Taiwo Tayo Ekwue, better known by his stage name, Teizzei SMT, was born into a predominantly Christian family of Nine(9) in Lagos, Nigeria, 
 Teizzei is a serial creative, whose love for music started at the tender age of 7, after picking up the interest to play musical instruments like the guitar and the piano in his church’s main choir, in addition to attending a few vocal classes, that set him in the right direction, musically. He grew up listening to music legends like Fela Kuti, Bob Marley, Lucky Dube, Don Williams, King Sunny Ade and 2face, in no particular order and was inspired to write his first song ‘I can find you in London’ after listening and watching Music Africa, in 2008 
 Teizzei creates best in genres such as Afrobeats, Dancehall, Reggae, R&B, Hip-hop, Pop, Afrovibe and continues to learn creative innovative ways to make his sounds refined and deliver on the best sounds that he can create, because he knows he was born to create good music and is passionate about it. 
 Teizzei started SMT, which is known as SuperMan Teizzei, He immediately started working on his first Extended Play(EP), and released it the following year, 2022. His first EP, titled ‘D Masterpiece’ is a fine blend of the genres he works best in, afrobeats, dancehall, reggae, hip-hop, afrovibe, r&b and pop and has a total of five(5) songs namely; 2night, middle of the night, one shot, african queen, role, which were all skillfully written and recorded,
