Emerging from New Orleans’ eclectic university DIY scene by way of Claremont, California, Astro Nick is an elusive musical personality conceptualized by multi-instrumentalist Nick Pedroza with an affinity for composing personal, eccentric misfit jams. Equipped with an extensive musical toolbelt, the one-man-band blends his arsenal of inspiration with a particular penchant for a variety of underground new wave to create a sound that dances the line between bedroom pop and off kilter space rock. 
 Plush Planet is the perfect meeting point between emotion and empty headedness, overthinking, carelessness. This record is the product of 4 years of work and multiple trips across the country exploring many different influences and experiences. Letting the listener choose their own mood, Plush Planet allows the listener to enter the metaphysical place that exists inside everyone’s head- a place of playfulness, introspection, and raw emotion. It weaves through many genres, navigating many different moods.
