Биография

Hailing from Sungai Petani, Kedah, Joyberry is a 3-piece alternative, synthpop band formed in 2018 by Aiman Borhanuddin, Ashfan Mazlan, and Zaki Zainuddin. Having been close friends for 12 years, the trio's decision to form Joyberry has come from their long, close-knit history of playing, producing, exploring and simply enjoying music together. This is reflected in their music which incorporate catchy melodies, heavy-hitting grooves, energetic vocals and personal, sentimental songwriting that plays around with the fine balance between dynamism and melancholy. Their major influences are The Strokes, Daft Punk and Komplot Joyberry is experienced in both the studio and on the stage: having released their own EP in 2018, performed at iconic music festivals such as AOR Festival and Naib Johan Music Festival, as well as being involved in two compilation albums in 2020, PKP Project: Stay Home, Stay Safe and PKP Project Vol. 2: Extended featuring indie powerhouses Pasca Sini, W/SH, Delude, motherwit and FUGŌ. Currently, the band is promoting their latest singles Disko Kilat , PROSPEKTOR and Selamanya while preparing to release their long-awaited debut album, set to be released at the end of 2021.
