Finding Better Health write sprawling anthems for the end of the movie, or the start of the drunken march home. A five piece, hailing from the suburbs of south-west Sydney, their music takes influence from post-hardcore, incorporating elements of shoegaze and post-rock, but with an immediacy that recalls the beginnings of emocore. Having spent time paying their dues in various noise and hardcore bands throughout their youth, the band came together in mid 2019, finalizing a line-up that had existed years prior. An outlet for emotions that may be too hard to share, the band aims to answer the question — when all you want to do is cry, isn’t it more fun to just dance?
