Alistair Testo is man who makes music up in is head whilst driving in his car. When he gets home he sits at the dining room table and tries to remember what it was he imagined. It’s never as the same as it is in his head. The mess of imagination meeting the reality of fumbling around with guitars and computers morphs the idea into something new and takes it on a meandering journey. The result being songs that live somewhere between intention and aimlessness. He lives in Sheffield, UK. He likes sitting around doing nothing much if he can get away with it. He has been in playing music since he was about 12 when he and 2 friends from school started a band as an excuse to make a load of racket at lunch times. Since then he has played in various bands across multiple genres, most extensively as part of AS IT IS, with which he has recorded 4 albums, toured all over the world and performed at some of the UK and Europe’s biggest festivals. Which is all good fun, but if he can wangle it he still prefers sitting around doing nothing much. Preferably with a beer.
