Биография
Over the course of the last decade, Tel Aviv-based recording artist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer iogi has established himself as a musical Swiss army knife and one of his city’s most versatile and prolific artists. As a bassist, guitarist, violinist, and drummer he has recorded extensively and toured widely in Europe and North America. In 2018, iogi signed with Raw Tapes Records, founded by Rejoicer (Stones Throw). iogi’s 2018 debut solo album the ceiling received worldwide acclaim and garnered 5.3 million Spotify streams and 2.2 million plays on Bandcamp; Twisted Soul called it “highly individual and incredibly captivating.” As he performed the album, iogi developed a desire to make music that would maximize his fun on stage. This creative impulse guided the creation of everything's worth it, his second and latest studio album. Almost entirely self-produced, the album is a refreshingly funky, introspective, and transportive blend of dream pop and indie rock that shares a kinship with the music of Jerry Paper, Mild High Club, and Real Estate and affirms iogi’s status as a forward-thinking 21st-century auteur expanding on the traditions of icons like Paul McCartney and Brian Wilson.
