Биография

Hypnocrates is a post-punk / darkwave band based in Oslo, Norway. The band's music is influenced by a range of genres originating in the 80s, from gothic rock and shoegaze to synth-pop and new wave. Mixing electronic drums, cold dramatic synthesizers and layered guitars Hypnocrates created a sound that appeals to the full spectrum of emotions, from gloominess and melancholy to serenity and happiness. After releasing four EPs in the period from 2013 to 2018, the band is planning to record and publish a new single each month of 2019, which will lead up to the release of their first studio album. In the new material Hypnocrates is trying to find their own unique sound by adding elements of modern pop, trap and electronic music to the mix.
