Quannnum Logic has been the artist moniker of Washington, DC native Alec Hayman since he first started dabbling in music production in the late 90’s. Though no stranger to the bass music scene, the name Quannum Logic was not at the forefront of Alec’s contributions to the industry. Alec was much more widely known as 1/3 of DC’s infamous drum & bass group, Headhunterz Inc., and as 1/2 of pioneering DC dubstep act, Mob Barley. Now as a solo artist living in L.A., he has been constantly evolving his sound and exploring outside his comfort zone to push musical boundaries; from massive snarling baseline bangers, to sparse atmospheric chill out beats, hip-hop to pop, dubstep to midtempo and everything in between, but never forgetting his first love of drum & bass. With recent releases on labels such as Play Me, Polyoto, Ophelia & more, as well as many behind the scenes credits in the pop/RnB/hip-hop/sync music world, Alec has been working tirelessly in the studio and has no plans on stopping any time soon.
