Melissa Otero is an ASCAP Award winning international pop and Latin pop recording artist from Yauco, Puerto Rico. Since her early days as a performer, both Latin and Anglo music have been a major part of her career. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Gloria Estefan, Celine Dion, Elton John, Ednita Nazario and others, her music connects to audiences from different cultures around the world. In 2013, her power pop single “Angels and Demons” was featured on Lifetime TV’s Dance Moms on their Season 3 season premier which brought over 3 million viewers, their biggest season premier during that time and landing Melissa thousands of digital sales on iTunes and millions of views on YouTube. By 2014 Melissa’s single “With You (Contigo)” was featured as a main love theme for supporting characters Greta and Lazaro on Telemundo’s Reina de Corazones. 2019 saw the release of Melissa’s third full length album Erotomania which brought her first European Tour including a performance at Sweden’s Live at Heart Fest. Finally with the release of “Antología” in 2020, Melissa releases her very first multilingual album with music in French, English, Spanish and some Arabic from her time spent in the Sahara Desert early 2020. The release of “Antología” is expected on June 12th with the first single “Des Larmes” on May 15th and the second single “Summertime Romance” on June 12th respectively.
