"Green Leather" is a project led by André Rosa, Daniel Braga, Francisco Ferreira, Rafael Enguiça, and Sérgio Seco. They formed in 2018 with the aim of combining their diverse musical influences, from Hard Rock and Grunge to Indie and Funk, into a signature sound they dubbed "Croc Rock." Their debut album "Qutting the Number System" released in 2020, showcases their energetic rock style and groove that has been refined through countless live performances at renowned venues and festivals in Portugal such as Festas do Mar, Arraial do Técnico and Varosa Fest. They have since released several singles in their native language, including the acclaimed "Música de Elevador". For their sophomore album "From the Mountain to the Sea", they built on the experience acquired during the recording and touring of the first record, and designed a mesmerizing rock opera composed of a harmonious blend of pulsating rock rhythms and soul-stirring funk like melodies. The band fearlessly explores the timeless themes of tolerance and the importance of dialogue in the enthralling narrative that hides amidst the lyrics of all the tracks.
