Биография
Formed in 2014, The Erkonauts turned the volume to 11 and released their first demo that same year, which sold 1000 copies and received critical acclaim (notably "Demo of the Month" in Rock Hard Germany #331). Shortly after the band hit the road in September, and toured in the USA, Asia, Europe and Russia, sharing the stage with acts like Philm, Prong, Cradle of Filth and Samael. Their first album, "I Did Something Bad", released on french label Kaotoxin early 2016, was hailed as one of the revelations of 2016 (#1 spot on Hard Force France of February, "Best of 2016 in metal so far" on Napster.com, #5 spot on one of MetalSucks.net Top 15 2016). Coming back harder than before, the band released their 2nd album “I Shall Forgive” worldwide on November 10th 2017 through Indie Recordings (Wardruna, 1349, Keep of Kalessin, Kvelertak, Cult of Luna, etc). "I Shall Forgive" ranked #14 amongst the best albums of 2017 on MetalSucks.net, Swiss album of the year on Daily Rock, album of the year on Metalonymous.fr, album of the month (#8 for the year) in Rock Hard France... The song "Little Mary" was crowned "International song of the year" on Danish site Metal A Day. The Band toured again in the US, China, Japan and Europe to support it. The Erkonauts are about to release their third album. Being the darkest of the three, this one bears the weight of troubled times the band had to go through.
