Initially started as a project between two friends in Herndon, VA, The Firnats crafted their gloom-indie sound in the DMV’s hole-in-the-wall bars and DIY basements. The band has since grown from two members to five while establishing themselves in Richmond, VA. Guinevere Low (bass/vox) and Kurtis Kunkel (drums) lay down rhythm, Hapa Siuhengalu (keys/vox) and Chris Castro (guitar) add flavor, and Sean Flanagan (guitar/vox) predicts that the Buffalo Bills will be super bowl champions in 2023.
