Jesus and the Christians is a moniker of prolific Dutch producer and musician Pim van de Werken. It's his eclectic electronic music outlet. So far J&tC released remixes for among others Blaudzun and Johann Sebastian Bach, a soundtrack for a bizarre movie called 'The Coming of Cindy Claus' and an EP with original material. You might as well check out Pim's film-music moniker Syrus M. Schwartz, the Dutch translations of songs he loves under his own name Pim van de Werken, his bands / projects Discohen (disco songs played the way they imagine Leonard Cohen would have played them), Cordon Rouge (French pop) and The Virgin Army (Dark indie-rock).
