Geof Kimber is a musician from down under. He has worked as a featured performer in family variety shows “The Myrtle Beach Opry” and “The Carolina Opry” in Myrtle Beach SC – and as an independent Christian artist and worship leader. “..His lyrics have a depth of meaning – they compel you to pursue Christ and a holy life,” says Rev. William ‘Ted’ Ragsdale, a pastor from Myrtle Beach. Geof grew up in the same valley as Wycliffe Bible Translators’ mission base in Papua New Guinea, where he grew to love the Bible and the God behind it. He moved to Myrtle Beach SC to marry his wife Tanya, and together they traveled around the world sharing his music and leading congregational worship. Along the way, Geof recorded 14 albums and wrote a book entitled “Fruits & Roots – The Worship Driven Life And What It Takes To Get There.” In recent years Geof has been focused on helping small churches in his area with music, and is now getting back to recording original songs.
