YANK$ knew from a young age he would have something special to offer the world. It wasn’t until attending SUNY Purchase that YANK$ realized Hip-Hop was the gift he would share. Raised between Los Angeles and New York City, YANK$ has drawn influences from all over the map, allowing him to become a mixture of both coasts: west side vibes meshed with east coast flow. He emerged onto the rap scene with unapologetic sweet sounds and stylistic finesse.
