Ze Rebelle is a UK-based artist - an award-winning dance pop singer, songwriter and actor. Born and bred in Kuala Lumpur, Ze is known for her 80s electro sound, glampunk style and risqué self-directed videos that have gained millions of views as well as award nominations. Through her work, she passionately advocates for female empowerment and the freedom of expression. Venturing out of her home planet, Ze travels in The Glam Mothership to perform in cities around the world; including clubs and festivals such as SXSW, Tomorrowland, MIDEM, ADE, and Amsterdam Pride sharing the stage with artists like Joachim Garraud, Steve Aoki and The Vengaboys! In Belgium, she’s starred in a mini series called Festival Express ft. ZE! on Acht and in Malaysia, she’s won the prestigious AIM Award for Best Local English Song. In other parts of the world, Ze has been featured on CNN iReport, LA Weekly, MTV Iggy, Humo, The Wire, the front cover of JUICE and United Nations’ The Global Goals. Working mostly with european music producers such as Joachim Garraud, DocOlv and DUSAAR, Ze’s music has been heard on BBC Radio and on TV shows such as 90210, MTV Styl’d, MTV’s The City, MTV Real World (Portland), FOX Network’s The League, Quiksilver Pro and FIFA Street video game. She’s had tracks released on labels such as Dim Mak, remixed by producers such as Bombs Away and played by DJs such as Laidback Luke.
