Bryan Anthony van Putten is a Dutch-Caribbean composer, arranger, songwriter, singer and guitarist from the island of Aruba. He is currently based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Van Putten is most widely known for his tender blend of intimate, melodic confessions permeated by pop hooks, poetic lyrics, and nostalgic sentiments. He has been compared to Michael Kiwanuka and Freshlyground, though his inspiration comes from literally all genres of music, including Latin American acts such as Maná. The result is a musical adventure that spans genres and continents. Songwriting, along with keeping up with current events and global issues are his passion. A troubled mind with little to say and much to write about, his music is like a never-ending story, every song another chapter, every word another page.
