Биография
Since the emergence of 100% GALCHER, his first online mixtape in 2013, Cleveland-raised, New York-based producer and DJ Galcher Lustwerk has operated in his own lane of low-key hip-house music. Deep, detached, psychedelic, equally cut for the club, after-hours, night drives, and headphones. Midwest deep house + laid back rap vocals = Galcher Lustwerk. Galcher’s nuanced pairing of the two has been imitated in recent years, but as the trends come and go, his music remains distinctively fresh. Blowing Up The Workshop 12: 100% GALCHER went on to be named RA’s online mix of the decade. Subsequent travels brought him around the globe, releasing on labels like White Material Records, Tsuba, NDATL, and remixing for artists on XL Recordings, Rekids and Jagjaguwar. Forming his own Lustwerk Music imprint in 2015, Galcher was able to distribute projects for his other aliases Road Hog, Macchiato, The Fock, 420, as well as friends Alvin Aronson (via Studio OST) and Quavius The mid-to-late 2010s found Galcher DJing at world famous venues like Panorama Bar, Ministry of Sound, Contact Tokyo, Bassiani, Sustain Release, Splash House, and Unsound Festival. In 2019 he signed to Ghostly International and released the jazz leaning “Information” LP with an accompanying EP “Proof”. He returned in 2021 with two club focused singles, the Ghetto-tech influenced “Bansby” and dubbed out, disillusioned roller “Can’t Believe”
