Биография
Waving the flag across the nation for Coventry, Indie outfit Candid aim to do their city proud. With frequent sonic comparison to bands such as Stereophonics, The Academic and The Amazons, the five-piece continue to make a striking impression live. Sporting an ever growing fanbase within the UK and reaching the shores of the United States with features on the NFL and SiriusXM, the band are set to reach new heights over the coming year. Following the success of ‘Wasted Time’ which garnered over 200,000 streams within a six-month period and addition to Spotify Editorials such as The New Alt and New Noise, Candid are ready to come back fighting once more. Recently, their hometown headline came with a momentous sigh of relief for both the band and the 1000 strong crowd in attendance, which finally came after two years of painstaking delays as a result of national restrictions (a huge success for an unsigned band’s DIY spotlight show). The gig was a resounding success, and this has left the band hungry for more and eager to move onto bigger and better things. Boasting an impressive stream of support slots such as The Snuts, Tom Clarke (The Enemy) and The Fratellis, plus playing the Isle of Wight Festival, BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend and YNOT? Festival, the band gear up to deliver a powerful end to the year with their biggest Birmingham Headline to date on the 10th September. www.candidcov.com
