Philadelphia is home to arguably the most prestigious hip-hop scene that its genre has seen. Whether it was the instances of poetic wordplay over classic instrumentals that benchmarked legendary groups like The Roots, or the grungy street lyricism that flooded the same rap DVD cypher scene where artists like Meek Mill were born, Mus was surrounded by music and developed an ear an early age. An ear that was not objective, but subjective. An ear unbiased to particular sub genres. An ear that was open to all realms of music including the architecture of modern day hits. 
 As tactical as they are near genius with release timing, Mus Matos and his team ensure every drop captivates both new and returning listeners.
