Биография
Build a Vista is a psychedelic rock band formed in Mexico City in 2015 amongst a growing local scene of like-sounding musicians. The band is composed of lifelong friends Pablo Olea, Carlos Mier, Diego Mier and Julian Bayod. Build a Vista found its sound and style in the rehearsal room and was later curated and crafted within the recording studio. Their live show does not fail to intrigue, as instruments and lead vocals are rotated between the band members, creating an ever-evolving atmosphere. Their self-titled debut album was released in September of 2017, produced, recorded and mixed by the band itself in Mexico City’s La Vista Studios. Their distinct mix of seventies rock with modern elements results in music that enhances tradition by transforming it rather than destroying it. On October 6th, the band shared the stage with acts such as King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Boogarins, Allah-Las, San Pedro El Cortes amongst others in the Hipnosis Music Festival which took place in Mexico City. Build a Vista is currently working on their second full-length album which will be released in 2020. Build a Vista opened the stage for the acclaimed international acts StereoLab and Kikagaku Moyo in the Hiponisis Showcase 2019
