During her career, Ilsey has collaborated with some of music's biggest names. But on her debut album, From The Valley (arriving October 6th via Elektra), the Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter crafts an immersive, singular sonic universe that sounds like nothing else out there. Across breezy Laurel Canyon rock, sparse pop ballads seared by solemn guitars and synths, and acoustic-driven music, Ilsey narrates each of the album’s 10 tracks with deliberate care, thanks to a tender, empathetic voice full of hard-fought wisdom.
