Биография
Alir, is a Bandung based musical group started by Sayed Purawinata in 2017 at Yogyakarta. However, he began writing his compositions in 2008 far before Alir, was formed. Months after it was formed, Sayed met Mufti Widi and began recording their compositions and started finding and creating their own sound. In the early time of Alir, these two made 3 songs as demos. Influenced by Alir,’s Demos, Fathurohman and Riyandi Akbar join this musical group. These 3 members Alir, started their journey from stage to stage with acoustic format until they planned to record Kemarau as their very first single. Even though Kemarau contained a little of music Alir, wanted to present to the listener, they felt disappointed about the production and decided to produce their own songs independently. And this hole was filled with the joining of Mufti Widi as the fourth player. Spent 2 years learning to record, produce and finding their own style of music, in 2019, they produced several of Sayed’s songs into 2 Ep’s at the same time with different formats in their friend’s cabin. The ‘Raw’ format was named ‘Entitas Ketiga’ and the other, which became the musical blueprint of Alir,; ‘Cornucopia’ which inspired by scores, soundtracks, canons, solo musicians and bands with distinct sounds such as Bon Iver, Radiohead, Ólafur Arnalds, Sigur Rós and many more, blended to be a new sounds that certain people feel Alir,’s piece as cinematic.
